Volunteer Information and Registration

HR professionals are invited to support the future of the human resources profession by volunteering for a 2017 SHRM Student Case Competition and Career Summit. Volunteers are an important part of making the event a positive and meaningful experience for students. There are many onsite volunteer opportunities, and the Written Presentation Judge is a virtual volunteer opportunity. For more on the available roles, please see the volunteer opportunities link below.  You are welcome to sign up for the Central, West and/or East Virtual Written Presentation Judge opportunities.

Case Competition Information  
 

All Volunteers

• Volunteers will receive a confirmation e-mail from Nancy Conway after signing up for a volunteer role.
• Please save this confirmation and mark your calendars appropriately.   
• Volunteers will receive regular communications from SHRM.
• In the event that you sign up to volunteer and then are unable to, please contact Nancy.Conway@shrm.org so we can fill your position. 

• Career Connectors will be asked to provide their resume to Nancy Conway.

• Both oral and written judges are required to watch a training webinar.
• The training video will be provided at least one month prior to when judging begins.
• This training webinar will help judges get acquainted with the Case Competition rubric, rules and what they can expect.
