Tatiana Hernandez

Tatiana Hernandez is currently a Human Resources Representative at ACCO Engineered Systems, a Mechanical Contractor based in Southern California. In her role, she provides HR support for the corporate office and satellite offices throughout Southern California as well as offices in Nevada. Her duties include talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, employee benefits, leaves of absences, and special projects. In addition to her HR role, she currently serves on two workplace committees; the ESOP Communications Committee and the United Way Committee. One of her favorite committee roles is organizing volunteer and fundraising events for the United Way of Greater Los Angeles (UWGLA) which is a non-profit organization looking to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness in the LA area. 
 
Hernandez attended California State University Northridge (CSUN) and received her Bachelors in Business Management. After a few years of working within the Payroll Department at ACCO, she cultivated her passion for HR. Shortly after, she pursued a certificate in HR Management from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and began working in the HR field.
 
Hernandez was recently accepted into Pepperdine University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Resources. She is also a member of both SHRM and PIHRA and is currently on the board of directors for PIHRA’s Burbank/Glendale District. She is actively involved in her district serving as the Co-Chair of Membership and the Young Professionals liaison. She is enthusiastic about her new roles and reaching out to young and emerging professionals in her area that are looking to transition into the HR field. She is also excited to be on the SHRM YPAC team and looks forward to working with everyone.
