Erica Gordon Roberts

Erica Gordon Roberts is a Human Resources Manager with the City of Atlanta.  She leads all aspects of talent management and employee relations for one of the largest employee groups within the City.  Prior to this role, she worked for The Kroger Company as a District Human Resources Coordinator and Manager of Customer Relations for the southeastern United States where she created an award-winning employee recognition program focused on aligning employee roles with company objectives while fostering an environment and culture of engagement.   She has an extensive HR generalist background in strategic planning and development, employee engagement, leadership development, succession planning, and performance management.  
 
She has been an active mentor and business partner in the City of Atlanta, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Fulton, and Hall Counties school systems.  She is also an active supporter and facilitator for the United Way E3 Academy.  As an alumna of LEAD Atlanta, Erica has served as a facilitator and Program Co-Chair, committed to changing how Atlanta views leadership, diversity, and inclusion.  She was named one of Georgia Trend’s 40 under 40 and a Top Woman in Grocery by Progressive Grocer’s Magazine
 
Erica earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from Georgia Southern University and will complete her Master of Business Administration in the spring of 2016.
