Jeff Tulloch is vice president of MetLife’s PlanSmart®, Workplace Benefits, and Business Advantage organization.  

In this role he is responsible for overseeing PlanSmart, MetLife’s financial education platform which provides education and assistance to meet the diverse financial needs of employees.  More than 170 of the Fortune 500 companies currently rely on PlanSmart to support their financial wellness efforts.

 Jeff is passionate about helping employees improve their financial wellness through education and is committed to empowering them to take action to achieve their financial goals.  He speaks at various seminars on the topic and also works with MetLife leaders globally to bring financial education to international employees of companies located in countries such as India, Japan, and Mexico. 

In addition to PlanSmart, Jeff oversees MetLife’s Business Advantage organization, leading a cross-channel initiative that provides coordinated resources and support to help MetLife firms succeed in the small business owner market. 

Through the Workplace Benefits arm of his organization, Jeff manages a team that provides voluntary benefits to companies. 

Jeff has served in a number of roles with MetLife since joining the company in 1996.  Prior to his current role, he had responsibility for MetLife’s Strategic Alliance group, focused on establishing and managing distribution relationships with associations, affinity groups, and a variety of other distribution organizations. 

Jeff and his wife, Karen, live in Ridgefield, CT, and have two college-aged sons.  When he’s not promoting financial wellness, you can find Jeff on a ski slope, racing slalom, giant slalom, and super-G in the United States Masters division.

Over the past few years, Jill has overseen the development of a series of retirement education offerings, tools and resources for Boehringer Ingelheim’s diverse workforce.

Jay served as a Peace Corps volunteer and business consultant from 1979 to 1982. 

He has an LL.M.  in taxation from New York University School of Law, J.D. with distinction from the University of Arizona College of Law and a BSBA from Washington University in St. Louis.  Jay is the former Chair of the American Benefits Council, an adjunct professor of employee benefits in the LL.M. program at Washington University School of Law.

Glenn Sherman is Vice President of Retirement Plans for ICMA-RC. His responsibilities include management of ICMA-RC’s 457, 401, Retiree Health, and IRA programs. Mr. Sherman is responsible for ongoing development and enhancement of these programs in response to competitive, market and legislative and regulatory changes, as well as development and introduction of new programs in support of ICMA-RC’s mission. Mr. Sherman has nearly 25 years of financial services product development experience. Prior to joining ICMA-RC in 2004, Mr. Sherman was President at Retirement Plan Services, LLC, a regional third-party administrator. Prior to Retirement Plan Services, LLC, Mr. Sherman was Vice President, Employee Benefits Product Manager, SunTrust Bank. Mr. Sherman earned a BS in economics from George Mason University and an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Mr. McLaurin serves as a Director, Relationship Management. He has over twenty years of working in the Retirement Services industry for mission-based organizations, including the past eight years with ICMA-RC. In 2013, he relocated from his native Denver, Colorado to the Washington, DC area. He is assigned to a number of prominent clients in the region including: the District of Columbia, Prince George’s County, MD, City of Philadelphia, Monroe County, NY and Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission. He has extensive experience in contract negotiations, client acquisition, team development and data analysis.

Some of his notable accomplishments with ICMA-RC are having the keen ability to improve plan participant trends and identify specific behaviors which tend to create barriers in Building Retirement Security.  As a result of Mr. McLaurin’s achievements he was been a member of ICMA-RC’s distinguished Leaders’ Circle, has been nominated for the Leadership Award by his peers and has directed national award winning communication strategies.

Mr. McLaurin participated in an Executive Masters of Business Administration graduate studies program at the University of Denver.  He holds FINRA registrations 6, 63, and 26. Additionally, he obtained a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist designation from the College of Financial Planning.

Stewart Levy’s 25-year healthcare career includes leadership positions in the pharmaceutical industry and health promotion organizations. As Director of Sales and Marketing at Novo Nordisk and then Merck, Stewart developed and implemented marketing initiatives for the largest payers and providers in healthcare, including government, managed care organizations, retail chains, and employer groups. During his tenure at Merck, Stewart was involved in helping develop the first pharmacy-based cardiovascular outcomes study, “Project Impact.” This breakthrough project involved the American Pharmaceutical Association (APhA) and helped document the effectiveness of retail-based cholesterol testing in reducing cardiovascular risk through pharmacists.

Stewart spent the next ten years as Senior Vice President and Principal of Impact Health, a national health promotion organization. Under Stewart’s leadership, the breadth of customer groups embracing health promotion expanded to pharmaceutical companies, food companies, advertising agencies, patient recruitment firms, retail chains and more. While at Impact Health, Stewart assisted and authored two outcomes studies. The first was a three-year study with over 12,000 participants which documented the metabolic risk of Hispanic populations in multiple types of venues. The second was a pharmaceutical-sponsored study which documented the effectiveness of a targeted health education campaign with biometric screening on two divergent employee populations. Under his leadership Impact Health expanded from a regional company servicing local employers and managed care organizations in the Northeast, to one of the largest national biometric screening companies in the industry.Stewart founded Health Promotion Solutions (HPS) in January of 2009 to focus on the need for effective, evidence based solutions for chronic disease prevention, identification and management. His expertise in the health promotion industry have led to business with government agencies, employer groups, retail clinics, insurance brokers, and other healthcare organizations nationwide. Stewart has presented as a leading expert at a number of healthcare conferences including the Employer Benefits Conference, Medical Fitness Association, Convergent Care Meeting, World Healthcare Congress, New York Business Group on Health, American Dietetic Association and Society for Human Resources.

He joined Gregory & Appel in 2010 after serving as a founding partner of ExactHire, bringing his HR, operations, diversity & belonging, and learning & development skills with him. Karl’s affinity for design, composition and learning started at a very young age, by taking and examining thousands of boring pictures with the goal of improving his craft. He loves deploying that practice-to-improve approach with all manner of hobbies including writing haiku, mastering cutting-edge technology and learning Spanish.
