GENERAL ATTENDEES
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via our Conference Transfers and Cancellation Form.
Confirmed registrants may cancel and receive a full refund minus a $250 cancellation fee for general attendees through 9/24/2024. Cancellations received from 9/25/2024 through 3/10/2025 are nonrefundable but can be transferred to another SHRM conference or seminar. Cancellations on or after 3/11/2025 are nonrefundable and transfers are not permitted.
Transfer credits are offered as a one-time courtesy and are eligible for use exclusively at another SHRM conference or seminar. The selection of a replacement conference or seminar must be made within 6 months of the date the transfer credit is issued. The selected conference or seminar must occur within 12 months of the transfer credit issuance. The selected conference or seminar is final; no further transfer credits will be permitted.
If an attendee chooses to transfer their registration, they are responsible for paying any price difference (if applicable) to be collected at the time of the transfer. If the selected replacement is less expensive than the original event, the difference will be refunded to the original payment method, not to exceed 50% of the original purchase price.
Transfers from in-person to virtual for any conference or seminar are permitted as a courtesy. Transfers from virtual to in-person are permitted, subject to an additional fee to be collected at the time of transfer.
Attendees who do not attend the event and/or do not contact SHRM via written correspondence by the dates above will be responsible for the full attendee registration fee. If the conference or seminar is cancelled, SHRM is not responsible for any penalty incurred by purchasing a nonrefundable airline ticket or related costs.

VIRTUAL ATTENDEES
Each registration is for a single user only. You are not allowed to share your email ID or give your account access to anyone else. SHRM does not allow multiple users on the same email ID.
SHRM may immediately cancel or suspend your access to our event if you share your email ID or give your account access to anyone else.
Reproduction or streaming of any content without SHRM’s permission is strictly prohibited.
If SHRM cancels or postpones an event, attendees can transfer their registration to another SHRM event within the next 12 calendar months, without penalty, or receive a full refund if the request occurs 48 hours prior to the new event’s start date.
CANCELLATIONS OF CONFERENCE ADD-ON ACTIVITIES
An additional cancellation fee of $75 will be charged for each conference add-on, including preconference workshops, educational programs, senior leadership programs, interpretation services and the guest program. No refunds will be given for SHRM On Demand.
For SHRM Certification Preparation seminar cancellations, the SHRM Learning System printed materials must be returned unopened or be charged the purchase of price for the SHRM Learning System in addition to the $250 cancellation fee.
