Lisa Rosser is on a mission to help organizations improve their veteran recruiting and retention. Her unique background with years of experience in both military and human resources is what makes her the ideal person for training human resource professionals how to recruit, hire, and retain military veterans for employment.

Lisa's military career includes 10 years of Active Army duty and 11 years of service with the Army Reserve, including 2-1/2 years of mobilization after the events of 9-11. During her Active Duty time she participated in 3 major engagements (Gulf War, Somalia, and Bosnia). Her Army Reserve career focused on operations and performance management, recruiting, placement, training, and skills development. She retired from the Army Reserve in July 2011 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

Lisa's civilian career capitalized on her Human Resources and Training military experiences into an eight year career at Accenture, a Global Fortune 500 consulting firm. In 2007, Lisa founded The Value Of a Veteran and published an employer guide to recruiting the military. The enthusiastic response to the hiring guide led to workshops for corporate, government and higher education organizations, as well as webinars on critical military hiring topics.

Ann Morgan possesses over 25 years of progressive responsibility in retail operations and human resources management for two Fortune 500 organizations. She relocated to Memphis in 2004 from the Detroit metropolitan area to accept a career opportunity with AutoZone, where she is the Vice President, Human Resources and Organizational Development. Ann is responsible for managing the Human Resource practices and employee training in over 4,600 retail stores, as well as for the organizational development programs across the Company. Ann's strengths and experience lie in improving operating efficiencies, optimizing revenue, managing performance and developing employee policies and procedures across broad organizations.

Ann's career began with the Kmart Corporation holding a number of positions ranging from Store Manager to Vice President, Human Resources and Employee Development. She has a B.S. in Business Administration from Western Washington University. Additionally Ann is a member of the Society of Human Resources and serves as a mentor for high-potential woman within her company. She serves on the board of RISE, a Memphis-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to assist low-income families create and sustain assets, and was recently elected to the board of ArtsMemphis where she shares a commitment to ensuring excellence in the arts and building a vibrant cultural community for everyone.

Jeremy Langhans enjoys playing in the digital marketing space for recruiting! He has a deep expertise in strategic engagement platforms (sourcing, research, and social media) & applies his channel knowledge in attracting talent.  Jeremy currently leads Global Brand and Talent Attraction for Expedia.  Prior to joining Expedia, he was the program manager for Employment Brand and Channels at Starbucks.  He is honored to be a founding member of the steering committee of the Sourcing 7, a special interest group of the Northwest Recruiters Association where he fosters opportunities to network, influence and educate.  Jeremy started Social Media for Staffing at Starbucks in 2009 and in 2010 rolled out their Social Recruiting platform. He had the pleasure of owning 2 roadmaps, globally, within Talent Management at Starbucks. These included Digital & Social Media, as well as their Career Center and other major channels (i.e. LinkedIn).  A good example of his work can be found @starbucksjobs on Twitter.  Jeremy has consulted for companies like Microsoft, Cisco, Yahoo, and started his tenured career working at staffing agencies in the late 90's.  He views Global Brand as "just the guy who makes the final decision on how we show up in the market" and "a way to drive results through a candidate centric design methodology".  He views Talent Attraction as "the synergistic space where strategic talent sourcing / talent engagement collide" and "the systems that create more yeses to the business".

Susan Kosman, RN, BSN, MS, is the Chief Nursing Officer for Aetna Inc.  In this role, she is responsible for Aetna’s nursing strategy, which includes establishing a formal nursing presence in national healthcare and nursing communities; stewardship and strategy development for internal nursing roles and the business roles that support them; and workforce planning and leadership development.

 

In addition, Mrs. Kosman has oversight for the following core functions for Aetna’s National Care Management: clinical training; compliance; quality review and auditing; systems and reporting; and innovation, program design and management.  National Care Management provides clinical policy and operations support to all of Aetna’s segments.

 

Previously, Mrs. Kosman was the head of NCM Medical Management Services.  In this role, she was the liaison between National Accounts and National Care Management, representing National Accounts needs on strategic and operational medical management to the shared services.  She also oversaw the successful expansion and operation of the Dedicated Patient Management Units.  These seven units, located in Albany, New York; Allentown, Pennsylvania; Blue Bell, Pennsylvania; Highpoint, North Carolina; New Albany, Ohio Richfield, Ohio; and San Antonio, Texas; provide coordination of care and case management services to some of the largest National Accounts Plan Sponsors.  During her tenure and because of the unique services this area provided, the demand for customized Care Management programs grew; and membership increased from 600,000 in 2002 to 3.1 million in 2012.

 

Mrs. Kosman began her career with Aetna in 1995 as manager of Government Programs for the Northeast Region. Later, she assumed responsibility for case and disease management. In 1998, Susan joined Core Health Delivery Operations as manager for Quality and Audit. She returned to the Northeast region from 1999 to 2002 as director of Patient Management.  Prior to joining Aetna, Susan spent 10 years in the home health industry in various roles.

 

Susan is a Board member of the Aetna Foundation; Qualidigm, a healthcare consulting and research firm; and the American Heart Association, Greater Hartford chapter.  She represents Aetna externally on the Champion Nursing Coalition, and the American Organization of Nurse Executives Committee on Health Care Reform.

 

She holds a BS in Nursing from SUNY Downstate and an MS in Organizational Leadership from Quinnipiac College.
