Attendees will learn the many ways workplace changes due to COVID-19 can run afoul of immigration compliance and provide HR tips on ways to maintain a compliant immigration program while living in a COVID-19 world 

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify workplace changes, such as remote work, that can create conflict with immigration requirements
  • Review immigration scenarios, including non-immigrant, green card and I-9 situations, that can result in non-compliance under immigration rules
  • Review government guidance issued during the pandemic, and identify those areas the government has not clarified
  • Provide immigration strategies for organizations to navigate the tension between workplace changes and COVID-19 measures.
