Ophelia Yan, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-SCP is an HR Consultant with Mammoth / HRAnswerLink, the nation's premier provider of HR services and one of Oregon Business Magazine, Fortune, and The Great Place to Work Institute’s ‘Best Places to Work’. With nearly 10 years of HR experience, Ophelia specializes in the financial services, healthcare, IT, real estate, and telecommunications industries.

Ophelia began her career as an Interim HR officer in her hometown of Anchorage, Alaska where she managed all aspects of the recruiting function for 200+ employees. Upon completing her Bachelor of Arts and Master’s in Business Administration from Willamette University, Ophelia was one of the youngest people to pass both the PHR and GPHR certification exams.  

Ophelia volunteers as the College Relations Director for the Northwest Human Resources Management Association (NHRMA), the Portland Human Resources Management Association, Oregon Food Bank, and OMSI. She also offers resume review services and career coaching for the Multnomah County Library, and works part-time as a Group Exercise Instructor for 24 Hour Fitness. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, home improvement projects, cooking, hiking, skiing, and trying as many of Portland’s best restaurants as possible.
