Michael is the Senior Vice President, Talent Solutions for Comcast, the country’s leading provider of video, high-speed internet and voice services to residential and business customers.  In his role, Michael leads a team of talent professionals who are responsible for the attraction and acquisition of diverse, world-class talent in order to further Comcast an industry leader as well as a career destination for the best and brightest in their respective fields.  He and his team is responsible for partnering with business leaders and executing process related to a variety topics focused on the talent needs of the business including strategy and planning, attraction, acquisition, and the building and engagement of a diverse and inclusive workforce.  He is passionate about the field of Human Resources and is driven to create high performing organizations that add to the business’s overall performance by serving as trusted business advisor and leader.         

Michael joined Comcast in September 2015.  Prior to joining Comcast, he was the Vice-President of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition for Walmart Global eCommerce.  In addition, he has held global leadership roles for leading companies such as eBay, Bank of America and First Data Corporation.  His career spans over 30 years primarily as a strategic HR business partner and leader.  Michael has worked in a wide cross-section of industries such as media/technology, ecommerce, financial services, and healthcare.  In addition to his corporate career, he also taught at the University of California - Santa Cruz in their Human Resources Management program.  Michael earned his MBA from Nova Southeastern University and his undergraduate from Western Kentucky University.   

Originally from Kentucky, Michael has lived in several metropolitan areas across the US and globally.  Currently, he resides in Philadelphia, PA.  He serves on the Board of Directors for Out and Equal, the world’s premiere non-profit organization dedicated to achieving lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender workplace equality both domestically and globally.  He has participated in nine AIDS LifeCycle events – a 7-day, 565 mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles supporting the fight against the global HIV/AIDS.  Until his move to Philadelphia, he served on the Board of Directors for Downtown Streets Team of San Jose an organization committed to ending homelessness by restoring dignity and rebuilding the lives of unhoused mean and women through work teams which helps prepare members for employment and housing.  

Michael is passionate about helping at-risk individuals in our communities in addition to driving business results with contemporary best practices in the field of human capital management and the utilization of technology and data to further propel business results.
