Inclusion isn't a diversity issue; it's an empathy issue. To solve the problems associated with lack of diversity and waning inclusion, you must learn the key empathy behaviors that make empathy actionable. It's those empathy actions that not only drive inclusion, but also improve communication, collaboration, retention and performance.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify and examine the potential biases that are impacting their ability to be effective communicators.
- Know how to give feedback from a place of empowerment and receive feedback from a place of support.
- Determine the difference between sympathy and empathy.
- Actively engage in the empathy behaviors to drive performance and create sustainable inclusive cultures.
