Sessions
The need for solutions that support employees' total wellbeing - biological, psychological and social - has become more prevalent than ever as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Traditionally, employers look to benefits carriers and wellness providers to supply many of these solutions, and these resources tend to be sorely underused. In this session, we will present the case for a holistic, coordinated approach to improving an employee's total wellbeing and how including it in your learning and development programs can significantly impact business results. During the conversation, we'll share examples of how deploying programs that utilize cognitive-behavioral tools drive behavior change in an organization. Unlike one-time classes or courses, a holistic, coach-centric model delivers results by addressing the full range of interconnected biological, psychological and social factors to remove the barriers that prevent people from making lasting lifestyle change.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe the wellbeing needs of the modern workforce and the barriers employees face to achieving total wellbeing.
- List actionable ways that leaders can integrate wellbeing practices into learning and development programs.
- Identify opportunities within your organization to help employees achieve total wellbeing and improve business results.
