Workplace Application:
Through video-based scenarios, you will get a better understanding on how to provide reasonable accommodations in the workplace.

Engaging in a productive dialogue that results in win win solutions when discussing a reasonable accommodation request with an employee can be challenging. This session will demonstrate how to successfully navigate these conversations. Three scenarios will be presented and include: 1) Accommodating non-apparent disabilities where stigma is a factor; 2) Interviewing candidates who have communications challenges like those on the Autism Spectrum; and 3) Addressing the intersection between performance management and requested accommodations. This session will show you how to:

  • Enhance your confidence and capability in engaging in the reasonable accommodation interactive process.
  • Leverage the videos back at the office to train coworkers .
  • Understand how to get to win-win reasonable accommodations solutions.
