This session will highlight the transformational journey of HR in Africa from being a transactional-focused HR department to a sustainable strategic HR development.

The African economy is growing faster than any other continent in the world, with one-third of African countries having a GDP growth rate of more than 6%. HR needs to align itself with organizational strategy to add value to the business. The co-presenters are HR practitioners working for global companies operating in some of the most challenging countries on the continent. In this session, you will:

·         Increase your ability to think globally while acting and operating locally.

·         Learn how you can take our seat in the C-Suite as HR.

·         Debunk the long-lasting perception of the HR function in Africa.

·         Explore the new face of strategic HR and how it is a reality in the making.
