Wednesday 06/22/2016 10:00 AM - 11:15 AM   Add to calendar
1.25 SHRM PDCs, 1.25 HR Credit | Competencies: Consultation, Critical Evaluation, Business Acumen | Intended Audience: Mid-Level
Workplace Application:
You will learn why and how to conduct an EEO pay analysis that protects, not hurts, your organization.

The EEOC and OFCCP are focusing on pay issues and using powerful new tools to uncover possible discrimination in employer pay systems. With increased data reporting requirements, recent pay discrimination settlements, and likely additional future class actions, it's imperative that you understand the new “rules of the game.” This session will:

  • Help you explain why you should be running an EEO pay analysis given the government's focus on pay discrimination.
  • Show you how to conduct an EEO pay analysis.
  • Show you how to set up the project to protect the analysis under privilege in subsequent investigations and litigation.
  • Provide practical, easy-to-understand takeaways to help defend your organization from the increasingly aggressive enforcement strategies employed by the EEOC and OFCCP.
