Workplace Application:
Learn how to set and manage expectations in the recruiting and staffing process and become more strategic.

The most successful recruiting and staffing processes do not depend on fancy new tools but on solid project management skills: especially setting and managing expectations of hiring managers, candidates, and other stakeholders. This session will show you how to use consulting skills to set up recruiting intake sessions with your hiring managers. You will also learn how to set and manage great candidate relationships and how to use service level agreements so you transform from transaction-based recruiting to consultative, strategy-based recruiting. This session will show you how to:

  • Use "contracting" in day-to-day relationships and how to walk the line between being "of service" and not being "customer service."
  • Position ourselves and our teams as "expert consultants" not internal vendors.
  • Leverage the components of a great recruiting Service Level Agreement to more effectively set and manage hiring manager expectations and drive accountability.
