This session introduces a valuable tool, SNA (Social Network Analysis)/ONA (Organizational Network Analysis), for guiding your efforts toward increasing the social capital of women and people of color.

Relationships matter. When it comes to being fully engaged and supported, effective and influential in your work, who you know likely matters more than what you know. Our social identities influence what networks we have access to and it is not uncommon for women and people of color to not be included in the same networks of relationships their counterparts are. Social network analysis makes that visible and provides valuable, visual evidence to direct interventions. Learn with a hands-on approach as you will have the benefit of an actual case study from ideation to implementation of an SNA/ONA project. You will leave with an understanding of how to apply SNA/ONA to your D&I efforts as well as actual SNA/ONA tools to be considered for use in your organization.
