We can't fix what we can't see. The journey to managing bias starts with understanding what bias is and how to see it; only then can we begin to manage it.  In this session, we explore what bias is, how it impacts us, & how to manage it in our day to day lives. Our focus is on how to see bias in the things we hear and see in order to reduce its impact.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will understand what bias is, that we all have it, and how to see it in ourselves and others with a three-word phrase that helps to ID bias in any situation.
  • Taking it a step further, participants will be taken through a number of scenarios (time permitting) that will be able to identify the subtle biases that are in their workplaces and will be given actions to take in those moments.
