Hiring managers often treat recruiters like order takers. They copy and paste a list of lengthy requirements from job postings that sound good and expect you to return with the perfect candidate that checks every box. What you do next with this wish list has an enormous impact on the hiring process and your relationship with managers.   The cost of taking orders instead of creating a consultative experience doesn't stop there. When recruiting and hiring teams aren't aligned, companies around the world see time to fill rise, candidate retention drop, and worse, they hire the wrong person. If your company can't afford the cost of this misaligned, this session for you. People who have attended this session with job post writing expert Katrina Kibben have said it made collaboration with difficult managers easier while providing advice for how to address biases they never considered before. Bonus: they saw a more diverse pipeline of the right people applying faster, too.

Learning Objectives:

  • Master hiring manager intake.
  • Learn how to write mandatory requirements.
  • Build a diverse, qualified slate of candidates.
  • Write a better job posting.
