This session will challenge attendees to assess DEIBA initiatives for actual or perceived risk and craft proactive tips for enhancing inclusion.

Headlines are replete with news of lawsuits challenging employers' DEIBA efforts, alleging some form of discrimination. Join this interactive program as we review proactive practices and pitfalls to avoid in DEIBA initiatives and programs. Prepare to respectfully challenge some current trends as we consider: - whether white men are protected from race discrimination; - discrimination that younger workers face as compared to older workers; - Title VII's religious protections for Christians, atheists, and agnostics; - the pros and cons of workplace affinity groups/ERG's; - what employers can do to avoid legal challenges; and more.

  • Learn some options and alternatives for enhancing how DEIBA initiatives are perceived.
