Good business and good health go hand in hand.  Addressing health inequities in the workplace can improve employee health, well-being, and productivity while lowering health care costs. As part of Health Equity in the Workforce, a 2-year initiative from the American Heart Association, the Deloitte Health Equity Institute, and SHRM Foundation, you’re invited to take part in a special hands-on exploration of impactful strategies to drive health equity and map them against what you know about the strengths, opportunities, and allies you can lean into to activate them in your company. Take home concrete case making research, examples, and tools to ensure that your company is on the track to erase gaps in health outcomes among your employees and drive health equity for all.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn about what researchers say are the top ways employers can help address health disparities for employees.
  • Map out a strategic plan so that you can change practice in your company.
  • Leave with a self-generated checklist and list of resources for taking action on health equity.
