Eric will provide breakthrough insights gained during executive coaching, fishbowls, and training conducted over the last 3 years. These insights have transformed the way we seek to enroll C-Suite Executives and gain greater buy-in and engagement of leaders at every level in meaningful DEI work.

This session is designed to share a new framework for breaking the cycle of reactionary inclusion moments. Participants will be introduced to an empathic leadership engagement philosophy we’ve defined as “The DEI Oz Principle”. The title is a play on the iconic story of “The Wizard of Oz”. Most professionals can recall the excitement they had in watching Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Lion, and Scarecrow go to the Land of Oz in search of the Wizard, who would solve all of their problems. In the end, they discovered that The Wizard didn’t have the powers needed to solve their problems and found their own solutions.

Learning Objectives:

  • Present traits of the Inclusion Reactionary Model.
  • Provide tools and strategies for diagnosing the health and effectiveness of Executive Team Culture
  • Define core elements/ tools for implementing The DEI Oz Principle.
  • Share early results achieved.
