Concurrent Session
What to Say When You Waited Too Long - Giving Useful Feedback
Sago
In-Person and Virtual Monday 04/17/2023 04:00 PM - 05:00 PM   Add to calendar
Competencies: Interpersonal (Behavioral), Leadership (Behavioral), People (Technical) | Intended Audience: Mid-Level
Workplace Application:
Attendees will learn to give useful, timely feedback from any location, and develop and retain employees who do their best work.

Managers hesitated to give feedback when their employees sat in the office next door. Giving feedback virtually often seems impossible. And many managers have waited so long, they don't know where to start. Give managers the words to make the hardest conversations easier. And as a result, develop employees who feel invested in and want to stay with your organization.

Learning Objectives:

  • Help managers feel comfortable giving feedback virtually and in person.
  • Give managers the words to start even the most difficult conversations.
  • Develop employees so they feel invested in and cared about.
  • Help employees do their best work.
  • Help managers be someone employees want to work for.

In-person session offerings are on a first-come, first-served basis.
