Concurrent Session
Gamifying Culture - How to Retain Talent & Make Culture Relevant in 2023
Magnolia 17
In-Person Monday 04/17/2023 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM   Add to calendar
Competencies: Business (Behavioral), People (Technical) | Intended Audience: Mid-Level, Senior-Level
Workplace Application:
Attendees will learn to assess shortcomings, create a game plan to retain talent, and address areas for culture-based improvement.

The reality is, we all HAVE a culture- the choice is whether you're going to invest in it or not. In this session, we will learn about a new way that PEOPLEfirst is gamifying culture so that it can facilitate crucial (and sometimes uncomfortable) conversations in a playful way, that drills down to the core of what the company is and wants to become. Then we will walk through how to create a People Success Plan in order to live and breathe the values we define into systematic practice. Lastly, we will cover how to gain buy-in from leadership around culture not being a 'fluffy' elusive concept, but a practical solution to positively impact our people and our bottom line.

Learning Objectives:

  • Change culture from 'fluffy' to 'sticky'.
  • Gain buy-in from your leaders to invest in culture.
  • Live and breathe your culture objectives in a tangible and impactful way.
  • Ensure there are measurable results from these changes.

In-person session offerings are on a first-come, first-served basis.
