Workplace Application:
Attendees will learn how to manage employees equitably and effectively in a hybrid work environment.

First managers adapted to managing virtually. Now they must adapt to managing in a hybrid work environment. Managing in a hybrid environment is different, but it doesn't have to be hard. Learn the pitfalls of managing employees who work from different locations. Coach and give feedback without hesitation. Avoid proximity bias - treating people differently because of their location. Be equitable, fair, and inclusive with all employees, regardless of where they sit.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn the pitfalls of managing employees in a hybrid environment.
  • Set expectations and hold employees accountable, just as you would in-person.
  • Coach and give regular and timely feedback regardless of proximity.
  • Ensure you are being fair, equitable, and inclusive regardless of where people are working from.
