Throughout COVID-19, many employers were forced to lay-off or furlough employees to keep their businesses afloat. In a turn of events, many employers are now experiencing a wave of voluntary departures and resignations in what SHRM is calling a “resignation tsunami.” To learn more about this recent development, SHRM surveyed working Americans, executives, people managers, and HR professionals to understand why Americans are leaving or thinking about leaving their jobs as well as how employers are responding.
