Ever wonder what America's hidden conversation about race sounds like? For the last five years, Michele Norris has been able to tap into that hidden dialogue through The Race Card project, where tens of thousands of individuals from around the world have shared their thoughts, experiences, outlooks, viewpoints and memories about race and cultural identity. Taken together, the individual stories have created a rich archive that serves as a window to better understand a changing America–and a roadmap for how to engage in courageous conversation about challenging topics. Norris will share what she has learned in building and maintaining the archive and how you and your organization can put those lessons to work.
