1.25 HR Credit | Competencies: Relationship Management, Communication | Intended Audience: Mid-Level
Workplace Application:
Explore the similarities and differences between the generations and focus on inclusion principles.

From Time Magazine, to the Wall Street Journal, to USA Today, to The Economist, it seems everyone is talking about the four generations in the workplace. What is an organization to do if the approach to inclusion has a negative foundation? It is time to separate fact from fiction and focus on building an environment that understands each generation’s strengths and weaknesses. Identify generational differences while focusing on the similarities that allow us to appreciate and interact with members of each generation in a way that enhances cohesiveness and inclusion.
