As more employers adopt automatic enrollment for 401k plans, choosing and monitoring the QDIA has become a critical fiduciary decision. This session will lay out some practical guidelines for selecting and reviewing an appropriate default investment alternative. Using the recent Department of Labor guidelines, a practical approach for evaluating the investment philosophy, glidepath structure, investment expenses and vehicle structure will be outlined.
