HGV had just completed a merger and hired a Chief Diversity Officer. It created an opportunity to recenter leadership expectations. The team developed an Inclusive Leadership Journey (not a DEI Journey) to celebrate values, pinpoint inclusive behaviors, and integrate two cultures. The result was a multi-faceted approach with C-Suite sponsorship, a reset with Team Member Resource Groups, and a development journey anchored in inclusion, equity, and self-awareness.
