Andy Esparza 

Andy Esparza has 35 years of experience in global human resources management, including serving as a Chief Human Resources Officer for two organizations (Dell and Baker-Hughes).  He has also worked as a consultant advising organizations on how to improve their HR and business performance while also coaching senior executives to help them maximize their leadership effectiveness.

 At Baker-Hughes (a $20B oil and gas technology and services company) he managed all aspects of human resources while the company was navigating a merger with a chief competitor.  This included all HR integration activities and the implementation of critical programs to engage, motivate, and retain 60,000 employees doing business in over 100 countries.       

 As CHRO at Dell, he played a key role in redefining the strategic direction of the company.  This led to the implementation of a broad range of initiatives that included an extensive skills transformation and accelerated growth of the company’s operations in India, China, and Latin America.  He joined Dell in 1997, and was responsible for the company’s worldwide staffing efforts during a period of explosive growth.  His Dell experience also included serving as vice president of human resources for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (based in the UK).

He has held HR executive positions with NCR Corporation, a multi-billion technology company, where his roles included multiple business unit HR assignments and directing the company’s recruitment and college relations activities.  He began his HR career with Bechtel, a multi-billion engineering and construction company.

Andy proudly holds a B.S. Degree in Business with a concentration in Management from San Diego State University.  He served on the board of directors for the Campanile Foundation, providing expertise to manage the philanthropic assets of the University.  He is working with the HR faculty at SDSU, investing time and resources to build an award winning Society of Human Resources Management student chapter at the school.  He is also supporting the faculty in the development of ground breaking research on diversity and inclusion. 

Andy is a member of the board for the Andy Roddick Foundation, which helps underserved youth develop the skills and character traits that will help them lead full and successful lives.  He is an Aztec for Life, and a resident of Austin, Texas.

Dr. Latrice Bryant-Robinson, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is a seasoned best practice HR practitioner and leader with over 23 years of domestic and global HR experience. During her career, she has had the privilege to work for organizations like Amazon.com, ABC/Disney, Hewlett-Packard, CIGNA HealthCare and Citibank to name a few. She has had the fortunate opportunity to work in the most entry levels of HR to the executive suite which has allowed her not only breathe of experience but the depth of experience as well.
 
Latrice has matriculated through many HR certifications to include the PHR, SPHR and more recently the SHRM-SCP. Latrice received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas majoring in Rehabilitation Studies and Psychology. She later returned to the University of North Texas to complete her Master’s Degree in Training & Development and Human Resources. Also, she has completed her doctorate degree in Leadership Studies from Dallas Baptist University with a dissertation study on Employee Engagement and Leader’s Personality Profiles.

Currently, Latrice is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Globe Life and Accident Insurance company in McKinney, Texas. As Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources officer, Jeff focuses on moving forward many of Jefferson’s strategic HR initiatives. A mission-critical area that Jeff focuses on is the seamless integration and alignment of enterprise-wide benefits, cultures, and talent management practices and processes. 

Jeff is also instrumental in the work of developing Jefferson’s mission, vision and values for its new enterprise, rolling them out to all employees and integrating them into the organization’s performance management processes, learning curricula and other supports.

Jeff has more than 20 years of human resources experience. Prior to joining Jefferson, Jeff was Chief Human Resources Officer at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC), a system of three hospitals employing more than 18,000 people. While heading HR at URMC, he created a highly-rated HR business partner model; introduced a talent management system for 27,000 users; redesigned the benefits platform – including spearheading a physician network contract, establishing wellness programs, and changing disability formulas to save the organization $8 million annually; converted 30 performance management tools into one enterprise tool; and managed labor relations for five bargaining units. He has also held leadership roles at University of Massachusetts Memorial Healthcare and Northern Berkshire Healthcare, also located in Massachusetts.

Jeff received his undergraduate degree in economics from Clark University and his MS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and Baruch College.

Jameel is the Director of Organizational Development at Day & Zimmermann (D&Z). In this role Jameel partner’s with D&Z’s Engineering, Construction, and Maintenance Group (ECM) and their Manufacturing Group (DZMG) in all aspects of Talent and Organizational Development. Prior to his role with Day & Zimmermann, Jameel spent over 8 ½ years with the Aramark Corporation in a multitude of Talent Management and Human Resource roles. Aaron Abell is an accomplished global HR professional, talent guru, analyst, business leader, and entrepreneur. After staring his career in a generalist/analyst capacity, he quickly gained success in various other aspects of Human Resources. He helped develop and led enterprise-recruiting efforts, improving results while reducing costs and lead times through the implementation of lean strategies and new technologies. These achievements were not only recognized internally at Hillenbrand, but also externally – sharing his story and successes at the fall ERE Expo. In addition, Aaron's responsibility grew to manage many HR Operations including planning, budgeting, reporting, and government compliance.

After several years building experience in Human Resources, Aaron gained Merger and Acquisition experience working on the Corporate Strategy Team – assisting with due diligence efforts for the $545 million purchase of Coperion Capital GmbH. Following this experience, Aaron joined the Lean Business team – leading global Lean training and development activities to optimize business performance of current and future companies. In 2014, Aaron joined FMC Corporation to work on separating the Alkali Chemical Division for its ultimate sale to Tronox Limited.  Today, Aaron oversees corporate talent life-cycle management with Tronox Alkali and acts as the Sr. HR Business Partner for the executive leadership team.

Throughout his life, Aaron has had a passion for philanthropy and community service. Aaron services on the Society for Human Resource Management’s Young Professionals Advisory Council and the Philadelphia SHRM Emerging Leaders Committee.   Education is a major area of focus for him and he served on the Board of Trustees for Oldenburg Academy. Aaron tutored first grade students through Kiwanis Kids and Us program, mentors college students through Generation-to-Generation Program, and was a founding member of Wabash Fraternity Advisers.

Aaron is also active in other community efforts, having served on the planning committee for the Relay for Life in Decatur County and Montgomery County, raising more than a half million dollars for the American Cancer Society. Aaron previously served for three years on the board of directors for Tree County Players, a non-profit community theater group.

Ophelia began her career as an Interim HR officer in her hometown of Anchorage, Alaska where she managed all aspects of the recruiting function for 200+ employees. Upon completing her Bachelor of Arts and Master’s in Business Administration from Willamette University, Ophelia was one of the youngest people to pass both the PHR and GPHR certification exams.  

Ophelia volunteers as the College Relations Director for the Northwest Human Resources Management Association (NHRMA), the Portland Human Resources Management Association, Oregon Food Bank, and OMSI. She also offers resume review services and career coaching for the Multnomah County Library, and works part-time as a Group Exercise Instructor for 24 Hour Fitness. Danielle Andrews is a Portland native, growing up in the Beaverton area. She attended University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA and graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. During college she served as Vice President of Recruitment for her sorority and found her passion for recruiting, training, and facilitation. Upon returning to Portland, she began her HR career as a Recruiter for a national agency where she learned basic recruiting and networking skills. In 2009 she transitioned to corporate recruiting as a Sr. Recruiting Coordinator for Banfield Pet Hospital. Once promoted to Talent Acquisition Specialist she spent the next 7 years supporting leadership, corporate, and field recruiting as well as doing project work and stretch assignments to improve recruitment processes for the organization, improve talent development systems, and facilitate leadership courses.

In May 2016 she took a position as a Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner with Columbia Sportswear Company supporting recruitment for their Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Legal functions for all brands.

Chelsey Gover currently works at Kaufman Hall, a Management Consulting and Financial Software company, as a Human Resources Business Partner. She is responsible for administering the firm's benefit plans, human resources information system, leave of absence administration, internal and external human resource reporting, and human resource compliance.

Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, Chelsey was Leave Administrator at Umpqua Bank, the west coast's largest regional bank. In that role, she was responsible for administering full cycle medical and family leave benefits for the bank's employees across several states. Chelsey’s previous experience includes serving as Human Resources Coordinator at OIA Global, a global supply chain logistics company, and Human Resources Assistant at Pacific Crest Securities, now wholly owned by KeyBanc Capital Markets. Early in her career, she served in various roles in insurance, financial services, and consumer banking.

With volunteerism and giving back being a strong personal value of Chelsey’s, she has served in numerous volunteer roles in the Portland area, including Volunteer Coordinator for the Northwest Youth Careers Expo, Chair for the Emerging Professional Committee and Co-Chair for the Volunteer Committee with Portland Human Resources Management Association.

Chelsey holds a B.S. in Business Administration with double majors in Human Resources Management and Management & Leadership from Portland State University.
