Belonging at work means something different to every one of us. Join SHRM civility content partner, Inclusivv for a 45-minute facilitated conversation and learn the art of peer-to-peer dialogue. Participate in a conversation exploring what it means to belong, and how we create a culture of belonging without othering. The session is located in Café Civility in the INCLUSION Marketplace.
Outcome objectives:
- Explore situations that foster belonging and those that don’t, and how these experiences affect our emotions.
- Understand the causes of feeling excluded or "othered" and how it impacts individuals and teams.
- Learn ways to create a stronger sense of belonging for everyone, in both our communities and workplaces.
- See how creating a sense of belonging can make teams more supportive and connected.
