Most people don't enjoy giving feedback. Add an identity difference like race or gender and the discomfort grows exponentially, but that discomfort causes profound issues of inequity in workplace relationships and talent development. This interactive session teaches the importance of building relationships while navigating historical distrust, along with tactics on how to address inner biases to provide culturally sensitive feedback. The goal is to create inclusive workplaces by improving how we build relationships and develop talent by providing clear and actionable feedback to all people, regardless of differences.

Learning Objectives:

  • How to build relationships.
  • Strategies for providing culturally sensitive Feedback.
  • Small group activity demonstrating how to give Feedback on unreliability.
