The key determinant in how inclusive your organization rests on what you do when someone acts in a way that violates inclusion values. Do we step up to hold an accountability conversation, or do we let it go? Even when we do step up to hold someone accountable, these conversations are often emotional, high-stakes affairs that affect relationships for the worse. Yet by learning a few key skills in this presentation, you'll learn how to hold someone accountable AND how to use the conversation to build and improve your relationship.
Learning Objectives:
- Build psychological safety through intent, not content.
- Identify the key skills to candidly but respectfully hold someone accountable for their behavior.
- Develop stronger relationships because of diversity, not in spite of it.
