Robbins will take you on an insightful and humorous look at the brain and how its natural, built-in biases make it difficult for the average person to inhabit diverse and inclusive environments.

Generally speaking, human beings treat “insiders” better than “outsiders” as a consequence of natural brain functioning. In addition, our brains aren’t good with new and novel things, don’t like change that much and freak out when things aren’t familiar. As you might guess, that can lead to problems when it comes to diversity and inclusion. So what can we do about that? You will learn how the brain’s natural, built-in biases make it difficult for the average person to inhabit diverse and inclusive environments. As Robbins will show, you don’t have to be that “average” human being. You can be much above average by understanding both the power and limitations of your brain and using that understanding to unleash the power of diversity and inclusion.
