Workplace Application:
Many organizations are new to diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. How do you decide where to focus your efforts? How do you know if these new initiatives are working? This session we will show how studying intersectional employee demographics helps uncover which employees feel less like they belong than the rest of your organization, and the key areas to take action to increase the experience of belonging for these groups.

Your presenter will discuss the research findings from WSA’s global study on Belonging, and the subsequent Belonging Model that was developed. She will share important subgroup differences and industry trends and provide examples that her clients have taken that have led to successful DEI outcomes.

Learning Objectives:

  • Gain an understanding of the foundational drivers of employee belonging and how to move the needle on them.
  • Learn how to effectively collect and analyze diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within your organization.
  • Determine the relevance of data and taking effective actions on what matters most.
  • Come away with actionable steps to increase belonging in your workplace.
