This session will provide an overview of the world’s first and largest technological college for deaf and hard-of-hearing students and information on how employers can tap into this resource for recruitment and hiring. You will also learn how to integrate deaf and hard-of-hearing employees in your workplace and about training resources to utilize at your organization to assist in these efforts. You will also learn more about:
- The needs of your employees with hearing loss or that are hard of hearing.
- How to communicate with deaf or hard-of-hearing employees on the job.
- Strategies to help you integrate deaf and hard-of-hearing employees into the workplace.
- Communication technology for deaf and hard-of-hearing employees.
