Workplace Application:
This session will provide an update on the current congressional activity as well as federal regulatory and judicial activity so you can better understand how your organization could be impacted.

The general election of 2016 brought to power a Republican controlled White House and Congress for the first time in eight years. With this control, the Trump Administration and the 115th Congress are moving forward with a very aggressive public policy agenda, with many issues of critical importance to the workforce at the forefront of this agenda. Key issues of focus include proposals to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, initiatives to reform the tax code, efforts on interior immigration enforcement including worksite enforcement and proposals to expand paid leave and workplace flexibility. You will learn how these issues will affect both your organization as well as your employees, and how you can best engage and prepare for what lies ahead.
