But the term “coaching” has been widely misused, causing confusion about this leadership style. Your mastery of this skill can make a world of difference in your organization. This session will show you how to:
- Distinguish the difference between managing and coaching and when to use each.
- “Be” the coach—adopt certain beliefs and behaviors that will allow you to be recognized as a coaching leader.
- Use a simple process to identify your audience and communicate with a higher level of influence.
- Develop the skill of helping people discover solutions vs. giving advice.
