This session will show you how to use a model to strengthen your company’s talent pipelines and increase retention as part of the overall plan to ensure business continuity.

You are often responsible for ensuring the availability of key talent. Thus, you must understand the succession planning process and your role in it. You may be charged with designing your company’s talent management strategy or executing what others have already designed. Some companies have succession plans, yet, they are constantly losing key talent as a result of bad hires, job changes, retirements, etc., after spending considerable time, money and resources to develop those employees. What are you doing to ensure that your company has and retains its key talent? To help you begin, this session will present steps so you can identify retention risks and create a talent pipeline for key positions. This session will help you:

·         Define your role as an advocate of succession planning.

·         Describe how a sound succession plan contributes to identifying and retaining talent.

·         Identify risks and their solutions to create a robust talent pipeline.
