The advancement, development and retention of women is one of the most prominent D&I areas of focus for most multinational corporations todayfrom board composition to the C-suite, as well as throughout the professional ranks. In 2013, Avon set a bold aspirational goal to be the pre-eminent employer of women, everywhere the company operates. Through creation of a multiyear global inclusion strategy and close partnerships with leadership teams in six of its leading markets, Avon developed and launched an exciting plan to define and achieve this vision. Leslie Mays will share practical steps and lessons learned in initiating and building plans for desired change, including:

  • Effective stakeholder engagement and ownership.
  • Use of analytics to inform plan development.
  • Identifying and leveraging external thought leaders for innovation.
  • Tools for sustainability, as well as outcomes for and impacts of your female empowerment initiatives.
