This is an interesting time for the Highest Court in the Land.  The Justices are hearing significantly fewer cases than in recent history, but politics and media attention are at an all-time high. Despite this dynamic, cases impacting employers continue to make the Supreme Court docket – and garner significant attention (and not just in the business community). This session will examine the key recent employment law decisions from the high court—with more than just a summary of the holding. The facts of each case, the Court’s rationale, the long-run implications and, most importantly, how the decision will impact the employer community will be thoroughly analyzed in an interesting and entertaining fashion. In addition, this program will review the important cases pending in the upcoming term and help employers understand the personalities that make these critical rulings.
