Kristy Lowther is a dynamic leader with over 15 years of experience in diversity & inclusion, management, continuous improvement, and organizational behavior. She is currently a senior business systems analyst at RTI International providing technical project management and business analysis support to multiple domestic and international projects focused on water quality, environmental protection, maternal health, education, and global economic innovation.

Kristy sits on RTI’s Diversity and Inclusion Council and oversees the Employee Resource Group (ERG) Program. As a founding member and Co-Chair of the Pride (LGBTQ+ & Allies) ERG, she has spearheaded educational panel discussions on gender identity and expression, intersectionality, coming out, and bisexuality. Kristy was recently awarded the Employee Resource Network Award at the Reimagine Diversity Conference.

Kristy holds a Master’s in Social Work, a BS in Business Administration, and a BA in Psychology, all from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
