With almost 15 years in HR and over half of those in leadership roles, Carrie has firmly established herself as a solid business partner with a proven ability to leverage HR & Staffing Strategy with business results. While leading the employment brand initiatives and recruitment marketing and media strategy for AT&T, Carrie has also been instrumental in launching the enterprise wide integration of social and mobile recruiting and subsequently breaking some of the traditional boundaries of HR. Additionally, Carrie occasionally teaches at both the adjunct faculty and professional development levels in the fields of Business Management and Human Resources and has been asked to speak at many of the national industry conferences, such as SHRM, ERE, NACE, COSD and DirectEmployers. Sarah Michel is a networking expert who works with organizations and associations to help their people leverage the power of their network to do their job faster, better and easier. Since 1996, she has been an in-demand international keynoter and corporate trainer helping people with perfecting their connecting. Sarah’s book, Perfecting Connecting; A Guide to Mastering Networking in the Workplace was published by Telos Publications in 2005. Christine Zebrowski is an Employment Lawyer, Arbitrator, Mediator and Trainer. She is an experienced legal practitioner in the employment law field and has served as an Associate Attorney for the law firm of LeBouef, Lamb, Green and MacRae (now Dewey & LeBoeuf), as in-house employment counsel for the National Geographic Society, and in her current role as the Owner of her own employment law boutique firm, Overbrook Law. Her experience in alternative dispute resolution includes serving as an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, as a Mediator for the District of Columbia Superior Court, and as a representative of both plaintiffs and defendants in many forms of ADR. She also created a company-wide ADR program for the resolution of employment law disputes while serving as in-house counsel for the National Geographic Society, which is in its seventh year of successful operation.

Enrique Zaldivar is an international leadership development consultant, speaker, and executive coach, with over 30 years of leadership experience. Judy Young is Associate Director at the Executive Education of Cornell University’s ILR School. She is responsible for the instructional design and management of public workshops and custom programs for HR and D&I practitioners seeking to advance their skills and leverage equity and inclusion for organizational effectiveness.  Judy’s focus is on developing and sharing strategies for effectively balancing legal obligations with promising practices that promote respectful and inclusive work environments for all.  Judy’s special interest and expertise include the inclusion of workers with disabilities and veterans and she has assisted many organizations in their efforts to increase the integration of these groups in the workplace. Judy  is a frequent presenter at major diversity, employment, and veteran-focused conferences and she is a member of the speaker’s bureau of the Society of Human Resource Management.

Penny Wofford is a South Carolina Supreme Court Certified Specialist in Employment and Labor Law. She concentrates her practice in the area of employment litigation and employee benefits. She advises and defends employers, employer sponsored plans, and plan fiduciaries against all types of claims under ERISA and employment discrimination laws. Penny not only provides proactive counseling and legal advice to employers and management regarding human resources issues but also assists employers with the design, drafting, and administration of welfare benefit plans. Penny is a frequent speaker on employee benefits and employee leave topics and regularly provides company and supervisor training on employment discrimination, documentation and confidentiality.
