Harvard coined the term hidden workers to explain how individuals are hidden from the workforce, not by choice, but due to barriers, bias and misconceptions. During this session the audience will gain a deep understanding of employment accessibility issues that impact hidden workers, specifically those with intellectual disabilities. 

Learning Objectives:

  • Who hidden workers are.
  • Employment accessibility issues for neurodivergent and intellectually disabled talent.
  • Actions employers/people leaders can take to promote and implement inclusive hiring practices for neurodivergent and intellectually disabled talent.
  • BRINGING IT ALL TOGETHER: Disrupting the traditional ways of working to build a better workplace.
