Potomac Ballroom A & B
Doors open at 4:00 PM.
In today’s complex workplace landscape, organizational leadership calls for a multitude of skills, traits and approaches. As Volunteer Leaders, you face continued monumental undertakings during these crucial times as the world and the workplace shift into overdrive.
This session features three varied perspectives on how to rise above various challenges – and thrive as volunteers. Four-time Olympian, Ruben Gonzales, examines how the pathway to achievement starts with letting go of our fear-based control and individualism and becoming vulnerable. Strategic advisor and communications executive Denise Graziano points to the critical communications elements enabling leaders to navigate crisis and gain ground despite the circumstances. Finally, Eric Ellis, a leading voice on workplace culture, explores how culture can drive organizational achievement, and how you can bring inclusion to your workplace – but to your State Council or Chapter as well.
In these approachable, intimate and engaging talks, drill down on critical aspects and key strategies that will make a difference in your role as a Volunteer Leader and leave you with practical, applicable strategies on how to not only meet your challenges but also thrive in a turbulent environment – within your State Council or Chapter AND your workplace.
