Bridging the Pay Gap: Why Pay Equity Pays Off
Brazos
In-Person Monday 10/25/2021 01:30 PM - 02:30 PM   Add to calendar
Competencies: Leadership (Behavioral), People (Technical)
Workplace Application:
Attendees will learn about the current pay equity landscape and how to enhance pay equity practices within their organizations.

Pay equity is not a revolutionary concept, yet in the year 2021, the data still shows that not all workers are receiving equal pay for equal work. The good news is that many organizations have started the journey of making a committed, well-intentioned effort to build pay equity into their practices. However, there is still progress to be made. Using new SHRM research, this session will explore why pay equity pays off by not only reducing legal risk but also benefitting workplace culture and the bottom line.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn about the current landscape of pay equity practices.
  • Identify the opportunities and challenges organizations face on their pay equity journeys.
  • Discover how pay equity best practices positively impact the organizational bottom line.
