Workplace Application:
Learn how to move beyond diversity-focused initiatives and to transform your organization’s approach to be more inclusive and to prepare for the workforce of 2020 and beyond.

In this two-part session, you will first hear a case study and personal experience with transitioning to human-focused strategy and then hear how you can also plan for the future, beyond just inclusion.

Truly investing in inclusion goes beyond a buzzword-filled mission statement or a one-time diversity training. In this session, you'll learn how providing a comprehensive approach to access and equity—tailored to employees' needs—leads to effective corporate human strategy. We'll equip you with actionable steps to begin your corporate inclusion journey—moving beyond a “check the box” mindset—and help you begin planning your own organization's approach to inclusion as a human strategy function, rooted in the psychology of what drives people.

To take it a step further, leading trends and practices will be shared to help you transform your organization's culture for the realities of the workforce of 2020 and beyond.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify your organization's end goal(s) with your corporate inclusion journey.
  • Identify possible corresponding benchmarks along the way.
  • Learn how to begin your corporate inclusion journey with actionable steps received in this session.
  • Learn how to ready your organization's culture for the realities you'll face with the workforce of the future.
