1.00 SHRM PDCs | Competencies: Global & Cultural Effectiveness | Intended Audience: Intermediate (Fostering DEI)
Workplace Application:
Learn how to effectively lead meetings to promote inclusion and effectiveness as well as how organizations can create an engaging culture around meetings so that the incredible power of diversity can be unleashed.

To fully gain the tremendous benefits of diversity, it must be partnered with genuine inclusion. Meetings are a key mechanism to bring inclusion to life. Meetings done right allow unique perspectives, backgrounds, and viewpoints to be leveraged in ways that promote innovation, engagement, and excellent decision making. Meetings done wrong derail inclusion, and, ultimately, the potential of diversity goes unrealized. Dr. Steven Rogelberg, featured on “CBS This Morning,” and author of a No. 1-ranked leadership book by The Washington Post, will bring a new lens to the topic of diversity.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn about meetings from an evidence-based perspective.
  • Gain knowledge and resources on how to effectively lead meetings to promote inclusion and effectiveness.
  • Learn how your organization can create an engaging culture around meetings so that the incredible power of diversity can be unleashed.
