Understanding human behavior and personalities is the missing bridge to successfully implementing diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) within organizations. As such, Bridging the DEI Gap provides human behavior based DEI training. In addition to presenting the classic DEI components, Bridging the DEI Gap incorporates personality based communication enhancement training. This component is necessary for individuals to reach a place of understanding other's cultural and/or social differences by utilizing effective communication.
Workplace Application: Participants in this session will learn how to effectively implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives based on understanding human behavior and personality traits.
Learning Objectives:
1. Participants will gain an understanding of human behavior and personalities by utilizing the DISC model of human behavior.
2. Participants will learn the foundational concepts of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
3. Participants will understand the Fairness Equation and its application for building diverse and inclusive organizational cultures.
4. Participants will discover how to communicate more effectively to better implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
