Concurrent Session
Quit Making Excuses and Create the Great Engagement
Royal
In-Person and Virtual Tuesday 04/18/2023 04:30 PM - 05:30 PM   Add to calendar
Competencies: Interpersonal (Behavioral), Leadership (Behavioral), People (Technical) | Intended Audience: Senior-Level
Workplace Application:
Understand why disengagement occurs at your business and fix it by better understanding your people and strengthening your relationships.

Employee engagement is at an all-time low. According to Gallup, 64% of employees in the US are disengaged, with 13% actively disengaged, actively spreading their negativity to their colleagues!   HR must ask: why are engagement and retention so low, and what can we do to create the Great Engagement?  It's time we focus our efforts NOT on the 'great exaggerators' like Covid, but on the key things we can control! Higher employee engagement, increased discretionary performance, and lower turnover is possible if we address the root causes and not just the symptoms. This session is designed to challenge some of your closely held beliefs related to employment engagement and leadership. You will walk away with at least three practical steps you can take to lead the Great Engagement throughout your organization.

Learning Objectives:

  • Reimagine how to create winning teams.
  • Stop creating fans in the workplace.
  • Unlock the power of connection through action.

In-person session offerings are on a first-come, first-served basis.
